PaintAmerica was launched in 2006 as one of the top National Level Art Competitions in America. Yvonne Steinbach was one of the few artists, chosen out of thousands, to be in this Grand Opening of PaintAmerica.

PaintAmerica is a non-profit association, devoted to providing opportunities for artists all across America. They provide workshops, network artists with galleries, funding opportunities, sales opportunities, scholarships, education objectives, encourage youth to explore art as a viable career option, provide established artists of all disciplines an opportunity for credentialed Signature and Master society status, and much more. Because of this opportunity, Yvonne has earned two points, almost halfway to her Signature status in PaintAmerica, which she is very proud of. Yvonne's painting, "Right of Way" was chosen as one of Paint Ameria's Top 50 award winning Mini Top 50 paintings in 2006, representing beautiful Yellowstone National Park. It was nationally recognized for its outstanding quality and depiction of America. She captured this image of these magnificent buffalo while in her car, and created a painting from it.

Yvonne's "Morrow Bay Evening" was juried into The Third Annual PaintAmerica Top 100 2008 Competition. Her painting has received the highest award of recognition for its outstanding quality and depiction of America.

Yvonne took this picture of Moro Bay, CA, while watching the beautiful sunset with it's breath taking cloud and color formations. She then painted this piece from the image she captured. She is very proud to have received this highest award from PaintAmerica.
